First regularly scheduled city council meeting of the new year. On the agenda tonight two construction projects to be voted on and there will be a first reading of an ordinance to rezone a parking lot from a central business district to a government service district. There are also some communications planned from the new mayor. One will be neighborhood initiatives and the other will be an ad-hoc marijuana committee to prepare for opt-out discussions in the future when the state gives more information on the matter. We had Mayor Steve Miller in Studio with the Morning Crew where he previewed the agenda for us and gave us an update on where the city is in their process to find a new city manager. The city council meeting will take place today at 6:30 P.M. at Ludington City Hall.
