The suspected robber of a Norton Shores gas station is arrested.
According to Mlive.com, 37-year-old Elamin (El-uh-min) Muhammad, of Caledonia, robbed a Shell Gas Station on Henry Street, last month. He was caught on video putting money into a bag from the register, with the help of the clerk. The video also shows the clerk firing about ten shots at the suspect, as he runs out of the store. According to Norton Shores Police, the clerk is not being criminally charged. However, Muhammad, has been charged with armed robbery... felony firearm, in the second offense... and habitual offender, in the fourth offense. He is currently being held on a one-million-dollar cash bond. Police also say another suspect in the case has been identified but has not yet been arrested.
