The first day of the fourth annual Electric Forest festival was a success.
US-31 piled up yesterday morning when people starting arriving in Rothbury. Authorities tell Mlive.com that they were very pleased with the flow of traffic and no issues occurred. However, a group of New Yorkers traveling to the festival, lost about 20 pot brownies which were scattered across the highway. The brownies slowed down traffic near the Muskegon exit but police cleared the lanes for drivers. Police say no arrests were made. Tens of thousands of people are expected to be at Electric Forest over the next few days.
