A Grand Rapids man is guilty of sex trafficking in West Michigan.
Mlive.com reports 31-year-old Eddie Allen Jackson was found guilty of three counts of child sex trafficking, earlier this week, in a U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids. In July and August of 2012 Jackson was recruiting middle and high school girls from Muskegon and driving them between both cities. He had the girls solicit sex from men in Kent County. Jackson will be sentenced in September and faces ten years to life in prison. He is the first person in West Michigan to be prosecuted on a federal level for child sex trafficking.
