A Whitehall woman faces jail time for providing her teenage son with painkillers.
Mlive.com reports 57-year-old Susan Gail Vanderlaan gave her 17-year-old son prescription painkillers last year but was arrested this week, after returning from out of state. Whitehall police say Vanderla an provided her son with Norco, a painkiller that contains narcotic relief for pain, several times. She was arraigned in Muskegon County Court on one count of delivering a controlled substance. She is currently lodged in the Muskegon County Jail on a cash bond of $10,000.
