A Benzie county man is facing life in prison for delivering drugs that caused a death.
Upnorthlive.com reports Robert Maycroft was arrested last week by the Sheriff's Office for selling methadone to 21-year-old Christopher Hobart. Hobart died from an overdose in February. Maycroft was charged with one count of delivering a controlled substance causing death, one count of delivery or manufacturing a narcotic of less than 50 grams, and fourth offense habitual offender. Maycroft is currently being held at the Benzie County Jail on a two-million-dollar bond.
