A Scottville man is the victim of a hit and run.
Mason County Central Middle School teacher, Scott Dumas, was walking through the parking lot of Shop-N-Save yesterday afternoon when a car drove by and struck him from behind. The driver left the scene but was later caught and arrested by the Ludington Police Department. He is being lodged at the Mason County Jail and is facing alcohol-related charges. Deputies will be seeking additional charges this morning. Dumas is currently at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids and is in serious condition.
