MI Comes in 6th for Meth-Related Incidents

Michigan ranks six in the nation for the number of methamphetamine reported incidents in 2013.

New data conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol shows that Michigan had 607 incidents reported involving meth such as labs, equipment and dump site seizures. The data revealed that, nationally, eleven-and-a-half-thousand cases were reported in 2013, especially from the Midwest and Southern region. Overall, the number of meth-related incidents decreased from 2012 to 2013, however that number went up in Michigan.
