The fatal crash in Newaygo County is still being investigated. According to Mlive.com, once the investigation is complete it will be sent to the prosecutor's office to determine if anyone will be cited or charged in the accident.
The crash occurred Monday afternoon in Sheridan Township when a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Todd Raby, of Hesperia, crossed the centerline on Maple Island Road and collided with a car driven by a Walkerville couple. The driver, 57-year-old, Frances Brink, was transported to Butterworth Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. Her husband and Raby were transported to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon and were listed in serious condition. As of yesterday, the Michigan State police Hart Post said that Raby has improved but Mr. Brink's condition is unknown. Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident.
