Michigan is setting aside $100 million for road work. The Michigan House voted on the bill, Wednesday.
The money will go towards snow plowing and repairing potholes, statewide. In addition, all $115 million left in the Road and Risks Reserve Fund will be used for construction projects around the state. Governor Snyder said he supports the efforts of lawmakers trying to set aside money for roads... However, he says it won't solve Michigan's long-term road problem. Snyder says more than a billion-dollars is needed per year to resolve the issue.
