Sean Michael Phillips gets a new hearing date in the Baby Kate case. Phillips was supposed to be in court this week for a two-day preliminary trial but it has been rescheduled for April third and fourth.
The judge postponed the hearing because Phillips' attorney requested additional time to prepare. In April of 2012, Phillips was found guilty of unlawful imprisonment of his daughter and is currently serving a ten to 15 year sentence. His present case is for open murder, which he was charged with this past October.
