17 wolves have now been killed in the state's first wolf hunt in nearly 40 years.
The Michigan DNR's website updated the information this morning and shows that most of the wolves have been killed in the U.P.'s central counties. Just less than a month of the season is left... unless the target harvest of 43 is reached by the end of the year. 12-hundred people are licensed and bag limit is one wolf per person per year.
