The preliminary hearing for Eric Knysz's mother is being rescheduled.
50-year-old, Tammi Spofford, is charged with two felonies in connection with the killing of Michigan State Police TROOPER Paul Butterfield II. Her trial was set for today but Mlive.com is reporting Spofford signed a waiver of the rule giving her the right to the hearing within 14 days of being charged. Her new hearing date is set for December 11th. Spofford is accused of helping the Knyszes steal a car in Mason County after Butterfield was shot. Her son, Eric's trial, begins in February and his wife Sarah, will be sentenced next month.
