Two car crashes occurred on the 25th around the same time in Mason County.
The Mason County Sheriff's Office is reporting that around 2:30pm, a two-vehicle head-on crash occurred on US-31 near Hansen Road. A 24-year-old Ludington female lost control of her car and slid left and was struck head-on by a 64-year-old Free Soil male. The man was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Two other people were also treated for non-life threatening injuries from a different crash that occurred at 2:35pm in Summit Township. A vehicle rolled over on US-31 freeway near the rest area. The vehicle lost control and went off the road into a median before rolling over. The driver was a 30-year-old female from Mears and the passenger a 32-year-old male from Hart. They both had to be freed using the Jaws of Life.
