Governor Snyder signs a bill into law to help veterans.
Veterans returning from active duty, will be able to partake in training that will help them get good jobs and build their careers at home. This bill is one of a five-bill package. Currently, Michigan's veteran unemployment rate is at 7.9% which Snyder says is too high... despite its drop from 2011. Representative Ray Franz, who introduced the bill, commented on the signing of it yesterday, and the positive effect it's going to have on our local areas, especially the firefighters.
