Three men with connections to Mexico are sitting in the Oceana County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
24-year-old, Jesus Avilez-Perez, 35-year-old, Angel Viti-Perez, and 35-year-old, Abel Gamez-Morales were each charged yesterday with two counts of conspiracy to deliver cocaine in the first degree, which could send them all to prison for life. Last Friday, the three men were stopped in Hart Township by Michigan State Police, when the officer discovered over a thousand grams of cocaine. SSCENT officials were called to the scene and found an additional 56 grams of cocaine along with a semi-automatic. All three are due back in court on the 21st. In the meantime, their immigration statuses are being investigated.
