Sarah Renee Knysz gets a new court date in Manistee County.
Knysz is being charged with motor vehicle theft in Manistee in relation to the Trooper Butterfield case. Her new preliminary examination is scheduled for October 29th at 9am. Her original trial date was supposed to be this past Monday, but her attorney requested it be postponed to needing more time to prepare her case. According to Mlive.com, transcripts, from Manistee County, showed that Knysz admitted to waiting in the car while her husband, Eric, went to steal another vehicle. She also admitted to removing the battery and memory card out of her cell phone so police couldn't track them.
