The 49-year-old Summit Township woman who went missing yesterday is now found.
Emergency personnel were called to the Manistee National Forest where Cathie Swanger Funke was found alive yesterday evening. A Michigan DNR officer found her vehicle down a 20-foot wall following a car crash. Respondents confirmed it was Funke and her vehicle. Funke was reported missing yesterday by her family when she hadn't been seen or heard from since early morning. She left her house without any of her belongings and left a suicide note behind. Funke was transported to Memorial Medical Center where she was alert and answering questions.
