An 86-year-old Manistee man is recovering after crashing his car into a Whitehall cemetery.
The incident happened yesterday morning as the man was traveling on Colby Street when he rolled over an embankment and into the cemetery before hitting a tree. White Lake Fire Authority and White Lake Ambulance pulled the driver out of the car while Eagle Towing helped. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It's possible a medical condition caused the crash, police say.
