A 25-year-old Ludington resident will face up to 20 years in prison for strangulation.
Donald Jacob Beck was given a sentence, yesterday, of 34 months to 20 years for assault and strangulation, habitual offender in the third offense. In April, Beck used forcible non-penetrating touching and strangulation on two Ludington women, ages 17 and 21. Beck originally refused a plea deal from the Prosecuting Attorney but then accepted it. Last month, Beck was sentenced to two terms of one-year-and-five-months to eight years and one-year-and-five-months to four years in prison for two different probation violations.
