Yesterday, MOM news told you about a fight in Muskegon Heights that left one man on life support. 31-year-old Antawan Pace of Muskegon, died yesterday after suffering head injuries.
Pace was pronounced brain dead on Saturday after another man threw him to the ground during a fight on Friday morning. Police Chief Lynne Gill said some witnesses told police the suspect was acting in self defense after Pace attacked him. Gill said the case is being investigated as a homicide but it is still unknown if charges will be filed against the suspect. He was placed in custody at Mercy Health in Muskegon in the mental-health unit due to a history of mental illness. His name still hasn't been released.
