Tonight, the Ludington City Council will make a decision on whether to make the city a historic district.
The proposed historic district is seven blocks long and on E Ludington Ave. Many residents who live in the area have expressed their concerns and a majority of them are opposed to it. They believe that houses and businesses are already well maintained and adding restrictions on what property owners can do can cause problems. The City Council meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6:30pm at City Hall.
