The two-day baby Kate search will begin tomorrow.
A team of botanical specialists and volunteers will search a number of areas in Ludington looking for soil or plant material that matched the ones found on Kate’s father’s shoe. Authorities believe they have enough plant evidence to narrow down the location where they think Sean Michael Phillips abandoned his daughter’s body. Phillips is currently serving a 10 to 15 year sentence for unlawful imprisonment of the infant. Saturday will be the two-year anniversary of Baby Kate’s disappearance.
