Last Badger Sailing of the Season

Yesterday was the last day of the Lake Michigan carferry sailing season.  Most people would agree that even with all of the regulatory obstacles, the season was successful.  The ship transported millions of tons of essential freight back and forth from Wisconsin to Michigan.  Most notably, steel towers for construction of wind farms throughout the upper Midwest.  The Badger made its final stop to Ludington, for the season, at sunset. Director of Marketing and Relations, Terri Brown, told MOM News:

"The final day of our 2013 season was a great one. We had over 780 passengers on our two crossings. It was a celebratory mood on both crossings Sunday and so much fun for everyone.

We'd like to thank our community members in both Ludington and Manitowoc for their continued support and we look forward to providing fun, affordable and reliable cross lake service for many years to come."
